FolkBlues.Com is a place for those interested in "acoustic music" (folk, blues, bluegrass, Celtic, Cajun, or whatever else might be included) to find and share information, and to enjoy the music we all love.  We will not try to "reinvent the wheel," doing what others have already done, often quite well.  Instead, the site will try to pull resources together, in a way which makes it easy to find the things you are interested in, and which might help you discover that which has so far eluded your interest.

The WebKeeper

Don Venne has been listening to a great deal of music and playing acoustic music for about 40 years. (Say it now, he doesn't look that old, does he?) In the mid-90's, he became interested in Web technology and taught himself about writing and maintaining web sites.

Don has a non-musical, non-techie day job, so don't look for high gloss professional web design here.  This is a labor of love, born of affection for acoustic music.
