Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion
Back in the 1970's, Garrison Keillor and Minnesota Public Radio started a little radio show, reminiscent of live broadcasts heard decades earlier.  The show has since become a monumental success, heard around the United States and elsewhere.  On January 29, 2005, the Geezers played on the show.  We have no idea how we got there, but our motto is, "We may not be good, but we ARE lucky!"

You can search the archives of Prairie Home Companion by date and listen to us online.  (Not that you'd want to do that!)  Or click here to go straight to our show page.

The Buffalo Gals
Web site of a terrific Twin Cities acoustic band playing old time fiddle tunes, original songs, and their own brand of Cowgirl Swing, whose fiddler used to be our own Mary DuShane.

Bill Geezy and the Promise Breakers
Bill Giese
has a web site for his more serious musical endeavors, where he spells his name in the more traditional version favored by the Uzbeks.

Battle of the Jug Bands
I'm told there will be a web site for the next Battle of the Jug Bands, in February 2006.  The address should be www.jugbandbattle.net, which is not yet a live address.
